FARGO — A day to be celebrated by many within TNT Kids Fitness & Gymnastics with the group announcing a 10-year partnership with Essentia Health.
“It’s really a special day for us to have a partnership on the health entity side,” said TNT Kids Fitness & Gymnastics Executive Director Kim Pladson.
Essentia is committing $1 million over the next decade towards the health and well-being of children up to 5 years old. West Essentia President Dr. William Heegaard saying this partnership made possible by the work done by TNT.
“I think the length is proportional to what we think the impact can be for the community,” he said. “It’s also easy to partner with someone like TNT who has been able to show success in community impact in a very specific way.”
The partnership didn’t come to fruition overnight. It was years in the making, both Pladson and Heegaard said. It took years of building a relationship to get to this point.
“It happened organically. I don’t think it wasn’t like we were seeking a 10-year partnership, 5, 6, 7 years ago” said Pladson. “We were just really starting to start relationships with them and that’s just fostered organically.”

The hope is to help children as they grow and prepare for school, an essential part of TNT’s plans for the future.
“We’re really working on development of each child so that we can be a part of that growing, helping them get ready for school,” said Pladson.
The deal between these two began back in November.
